Cookie and storage policy

In short
AENIGMA sets no cookies for readers. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or any third-party tracking. Our fonts are hosted on our own servers. Only a few small entries are kept in your browser’s storage, listed below, and the optional ones only with your permission.
What is kept in your browser
These entries live in your browser’s local or session storage. They are not cookies, they carry no identifier and they are not sent to us or to anyone else.

Anonymous statistics
Each page view sends us one small anonymous message: page, language, device type, the kind of source (search, social, direct…) and the referring site, your browser’s time zone (which gives a country and a large city), reading time and scroll depth. We do not store your IP address, we set no identifier and we keep only daily totals, from which no single visit can be rebuilt.
Videos from YouTube and TikTok
Videos are not loaded until you press play. Only then does your browser connect to the video platform — YouTube (privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com), TikTok, Vimeo, Facebook, Instagram or X — and its own privacy policy applies from that moment.
Advertising and pop-ups
Every advertisement is clearly labelled with the advertiser’s name, and our own products are marked «From the publisher». Advertisers receive no data about you, only anonymous totals of views and clicks. Links may carry UTM tags that only tell the destination site the visit came from AENIGMA.
Fonts
All fonts are served from our own server. No request is made to Google Fonts or other font services.
Changing your choice
Use «Cookie settings» at the bottom of any page. If you withdraw consent, everything stored for marketing and measurement is deleted from your browser at once. You can also clear the site’s data in your browser settings.
